Kris Lynch studied art and graphic design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.
Her watercolor art is on the book cover of Your True Home: The Everyday Wisdom of Thich Nhat Hanh, and more than 150 of her pen & ink herbal drawings illustrate Herb Gardening At Its Best by Sal Gilbertie. Her artwork hangs in many private collections.
She has exhibited in the North East Watercolor Society Annual International Juried Exhibitions, the SCAN Juried Art Shows in Newtown, CT, and the Regional Open Juried Fine Art Shows in Easton, CT. She is a Signature Member of the North East Watercolor Society, a member of the Society of Creative Arts of Newtown and the New Canaan Society for the Arts, and a board member of the Easton Arts Council.
A native of New York, Kris now resides in Easton with her husband, Charlie. They travel extensively and she always brings along a sketch pad and camera, making small quick drawings of anything that catches her eye along with many photos, then works on larger, more detailed pieces in her studio.
Please feel free to inquire about or comment on any of the artwork. Matted prints are available for images on this site -- email Kris here if you are interested.
I just walk a great deal over the countryside.
I try to leave myself very open to catch a vibration,
a tone from something... Andrew Wyeth
